Harness the capabilities of AI with OpenAI modules in Make, from chat completions and edits to image generations and more.
Retrieve Your OpenAI Credentials:
- Log Into OpenAI: Access your OpenAI account tailored for DALL-E & ChatGPT.
If you haven’t set up an account yet, sign up for an OpenAI account.
ℹ️ Note: Ensure you have access to GPT-3.5 or GPT-4 models within OpenAI. GPT-4 is currently in beta and limited to select users. If you don’t have access yet, consider joining their waitlist. - Get Your API Keys:
- Click on your profile icon at the top right corner.
- Select ‘View API Keys’ from the dropdown.
- Generate a New Secret Key:
- Opt to create a new secret key. Optionally assign it a name.
- After creation, securely copy and store this secret key. OpenAI doesn’t allow repeated views.
- Obtain Your Organization ID:
- Navigate to your account settings.
- Copy your ‘Organization ID’.
Connect OpenAI to Make:
- Initiate on Make:
- In Make, add an OpenAI module suitable for DALL-E & ChatGPT.
- Choose ‘Create a connection’.
- Enter Connection Details:
- Optional Name: Assign a name in the ‘Connection name’ field if desired.
- API Key: Paste the secret key into the ‘API Key’ field.
- Organization ID: Enter the copied Organization ID in the designated field.
- Complete the Connection: Click ‘Save’ to finalize the connection.
You’re all set! With the connection established, you can freely design, adjust, and employ OpenAI modules for diverse AI-driven scenarios in Make.
